Website in a Day is a service created by Silver Servers that does exactly what it says: you fill out a detailed form, and by the end of the day, you have a full website. It’s fast, fun, and a little bit chaotic in the best way.
The team wanted a promotional animation to help explain the service, and they handed me their brand assets—including a very enthusiastic squirrel mascot—along with a finished script. From there, I took the lead on storyboarding the video, sketching out scenes and character poses in Procreate on my iPad.
Once the boards were in place, I rebuilt all the artwork in Illustrator and prepped it for animation. Then the real magic happened in After Effects, where the squirrel came to life—jumping across the screen, reacting to scenes, and bringing the whole ad to life with motion and personality.
I added sound effects and music from Pixabay, edited everything together, and even recorded the voiceover myself. The final result is a playful, fast-paced animation made to match the energy of the service—and it quickly became one of their main marketing pieces.
